Really I shoudn’t be here. Rupert and I thought we’d been given permission to go down into the houses to recce for filming but wires had got crossed and we got told off for being here. So don’t try this youself if you go to Skara Brae.

However, wires were uncrossed in the end and we were granted permission to film – although I had to stay up top in the public areas with the camera.
